West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has alleged large-scale irregularities in the counting process, urging TMC counting agents and candidates to stay vigilant and not leave counting centres. She claimed that counting has been halted in several locations, questioned discrepancies in EVMs, and accused the BJP of manipulating early trends with the support of central forces. Banerjee asserted that despite initial rounds, many seats where the All India Trinamool Congress is leading are not being reported accurately. She also raised concerns over the role of the Election Commission and security forces, alleging bias. Calling on party workers to remain calm and determined, she expressed confidence that TMC would ultimately emerge victorious as more rounds of counting are completed.
