CENTCOM announced on April 25 that the merchant vessel M/V Sevan had been intercepted by a U.S. Navy helicopter launched from the guided-missile destroyer USS Pinckney in the Arabian Sea. According to the U.S. military statement, the vessel complied with orders to reverse course and was being escorted back toward Iran.
