Iran-aligned Houthi rebels in Yemen have threatened to shut the Bab al-Mandeb Strait if President Donald Trump continues policies they say obstruct peace, raising the risk of disruption at another critical global shipping chokepoint. The warning was issued by Houthi Deputy Foreign Minister Hussein al-Ezzi, who said closure of the strait would be beyond the power of the outside world to reverse.
