We are a dynamic online education platform launching an on-demand course, and we need immediate assistance with enhancing the mobile user experience. Our course content is hosted on Vimeo and WordPress, and while we’ve successfully disabled fast-forwarding for desktop users, we’re encountering challenges with mobile users.

Currently, viewers accessing the course on mobile devices can fast-forward through the video content even when in full-screen mode, which is impacting the integrity of our course delivery. We require a skilled Mobile User Experience Developer who can swiftly implement measures to prevent viewers from fast-forwarding on the mobile version of our platform.

Responsibilities:
– Assess the current mobile user experience and identify the root cause of the fast-forwarding issue.
I- mplement effective solutions to prevent viewers from fast forwarding through video content on mobile devices, particularly in full-screen mode.
– Ensure seamless integration of the fast-forward prevention feature with our existing course platform hosted on Vimeo and WordPress.
– Test the implemented solution across various mobile devices and browsers to ensure compatibility and optimal performance.
– Provide documentation and guidance for our team to understand and maintain the implemented solution in the future.

Requirements:
– Proven experience in Mobile User Experience Development, particularly with implementing video playback controls and restrictions.
– Familiarity with Vimeo and WordPress platforms, as well as mobile web development technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript).
– Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
– Strong communication skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
– Experience with similar projects or familiarity with video streaming platforms with restricted playback features (e.g., YouTube ads) is highly desirable.
