A day after Oman nuclear talks, Iran issued its strongest warning yet to the U.S., saying American bases across the Middle East would be struck if Washington attacks. Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi declared Iran’s missile program “never negotiable” and insisted uranium enrichment would continue as an “inalienable right.” An Iranian general warned any U.S.–Iran conflict would engulf the entire region, with all American facilities becoming targets. The threats followed Trump’s announcement of new tariffs and his claim that a large U.S. armada is heading to the Middle East, sharply escalating tensions between Tehran and Washington.
