India urged all sides to exercise restraint and resolve the crisis peacefully through dialogue, stressing the need for regional stability. The MEA also confirmed that the Indian Embassy in Caracas is in contact with members of the Indian community and is extending all possible assistance amid rising diplomatic alarm bells.
