We are seeking a mid-level front-end website specialist with experience in maintaining and building WordPress websites.

We have 12 client websites that must be updated each week (with more client sites to come).

Your job would be to update WordPress core, update plugins, update themes, and fix any issues that may arise after updates.

This role is specifically for website maintenance and updates. Such tasks would include:
– creating blog posts
– updating plugins
– creating backups
– fixing small front-end issues
– designing new pages & sections
– and more

If you do a good job with the maintenance and updates, there is an opportunity also to build client websites.

You are a self-motivated, team player with experience developing websites, strong problem-solving skills, working under fast deadlines/turnarounds, understanding the latest technology, and a strong portfolio.

Experience / Skill-set:
– Minimum of three years of experience in front-end website development
– Demonstrable UI/UX design skills with a strong portfolio
– HTML and CSS
– WordPress experience
– Woocommerce experience
– Elementor page builder experience
– Shopify experience a plus!
– Pagefly page builder experience a plus!

The ideal candidate has the following qualities:
– Self-starter and
– An aesthetic eye and an eye for details
– Strong English written and verbal communication skills
– Ability to be able to perform with little direction or supervision
– Ability to work on tight deadlines with fast turnaround time
