adminMactores is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automation Integration Test Engineer to take a leadership role in our testing initiatives, specifically focusing on automation. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in creating and implementing automation test cases to rigorously assess the functionality of applications during and post-upgradation. The primary responsibility will be to design automated test cases that can be seamlessly invoked on demand, effectively testing the entire application pipeline. This role also requires a keen understanding of application integration, where the candidate will evaluate the application’s interaction with various components to ensure seamless operation.
What you will do?
1).Work on testing initiatives, emphasizing the implementation and execution of automation test cases.
2) Develop automated test cases specifically designed to assess ETL processes during and after upgrades, covering data extraction, transformation, and loading.
3)Design automated test cases with dynamic invocation capabilities, providing flexibility to test various aspects of pipelines on demand.
4) Ensure automated test cases cover the entire application pipeline, from individual components to end-to-end processes, ensuring comprehensive testing coverage.
5) Evaluate the application’s integration with PySpark, Glue, EMR, Kinesis, Flink, and Kafka.
6) Assess the application’s integration with other components, focusing on ensuring accurate data flow and transformation between different stages along with seamless communication and operation across the entire application ecosystem.
7) Work closely with development teams to understand the upgrade processes, collaborate on the creation of effective test cases, and design the testing strategy accordingly.
8) Proactively enhance and optimize automated testing processes for pipelines, incorporating best practices to improve overall efficiency and reliability.
9) Generate comprehensive reports detailing test results and provide clear documentation of test cases, methodologies, and automation frameworks.
What are we looking for?
1) 2+ years of experience as an Automation Integration Test Engineer, demonstrating successful leadership in automation testing initiatives.
2) Strong proficiency in designing and implementing automated test cases, specifically focused on during and post-upgradation testing of the data flow and pipelines
3) Strong proficiency in designing and implementing automated test cases, with a focus on ETL processes involving PySpark, Glue, EMR, Kinesis, Flink, and Kafka.
4) Experience in creating and managing test cases that cover the entire application pipeline, ensuring comprehensive testing coverage.
5) In-depth knowledge of automation testing tools, ETL principles, processes, and frameworks.
6) Understanding of application integration principles and the ability to assess interactions with PySpark, Glue, EMR, Kinesis, Flink, and Kafka components.
7) Continuous improvement mindset, with a proactive approach to enhancing automated testing processes.
8) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address potential issues in the application pipeline.
9) Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration and reporting.
