On the opening day of the Parliament Winter Session, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended a warm and historic welcome to Vice-President CP Radhakrishnan as he presided over the Rajya Sabha for the first time. Radhakrishnan, who took office in September after succeeding Jagdeep Dhankhar, was praised for his humble background, lifelong dedication to social service, and deep connection with grassroots communities.
