Venezuela’s Interior and Justice Minister Diosdado Cabello accused the United States of maintaining a policy of threats and interference in Latin America during his national TV program Con el mazo dando. He criticised recent U.S. aerial operations in Panama and the Dominican Republic, following Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s visit. Cabello also rejected media claims that Venezuela “threatened” European airlines, explaining the issue stemmed from a U.S. airspace notice. He condemned the Trump administration for sending a deportation flight to Caracas despite U.S. warnings over Caribbean airspace.
