A dramatic daylight robbery in Bengaluru has left police scrambling for answers. A gang posing as government and RBI officials intercepted a CMS cash van near Jayanagar and escaped with ₹7.11 crore in under 30 minutes. The suspects used a grey Innova with fake plates and “Government of India” markings, separated the van crew, held the driver at gunpoint near Dairy Circle flyover, an area with minimal CCTV coverage, and fled with the cash. Police suspect insider involvement, with all four CMS crew members now in custody. Multiple special teams are scanning CCTV footage, tracking escape routes, and examining leads on a possible second getaway vehicle.
