Hundreds of inmates at Iran’s Ghezel Hesar Prison near Tehran are staging a hunger strike to protest a recent surge in executions, after at least five more prisoners were executed on Wednesday. Sources told Iran International that detainees have refused food for the third straight day in the notorious facility.
