Palestine’s Permanent Representative to the UN Riyad Mansour couldn’t hold back his tears as he narrated the ordeal of Palestinians in Gaza during a UNSC meeting on May 28. Member states as well as UN officials spoke about and highlighted the deteriorating situation in Gaza, citing starvation, displacement and trauma among civilians.
