India’s strikes on Pakistan followed exchange of fire between Indian and Pakistani troops along the Line of Control as well as the international border. Civilians were reportedly killed in the firing. India launched strikes on 9 terror sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir overnight on May 07. The Indian forces’ strike was in response to the April 22 terrorist attack on civilians in Kashmir.
