China expressed support for its all-weather ally Pakistan in the aftermath of Pahalgam terror attack. Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi spoke to his Pakistani counterpart Ishaq Dar on Sunday and backed Islamabad in safeguarding its sovereignty and security interests. Wang called both sides to exercise restraint and called for an “impartial investigation” into the Pahalgam terror attack, as per a readout from China’s foreign ministry.
