Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri launched a scathing attack on former Foreign Minister of Pakistan Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for his recent comments on India’s move to suspend the Indus Water Treaty. Piyush Goyal also joined Puri in condemning Bhutto’s comments. On April 25, Bhutto remarked that either water will flow through the Indus River or “their (Indians’) blood”, drawing sharp reactions from across the border.
