President Donald Trump and the first lady participated in a First Honors Ceremony at Emancipation Hall at the US Capitol on Jan 20. The event took the place of the tradition Review of the Troops that usually occurs just before the president departs the U.S. Capitol on Inauguration Day. Inclement weather caused changes to the day’s events as the Inauguration was moved inside the Capitol.
