We are on the hunt for a proficient Ruby on Rails developer to spearhead the creation of an innovative web application, with a specific focus on building a robust search feature using Typesense and leveraging PostgreSQL within the Supabase ecosystem. The final product will be deployed on Fly.io, ensuring a seamless user experience. The developer’s core responsibility will be to convert our detailed Figma designs into a responsive, fully functional web platform.

Responsibilities:

Translate Figma designs into a responsive and visually appealing web application.
Build and maintain a high-performance web application using Ruby on Rails.
Develop a powerful search function using Typesense to provide users with fast and relevant search results.
Manage and optimize a PostgreSQL database hosted on Supabase for data integrity and efficiency.
Integrate front-end components with server-side logic and functionalities.
Assure all web interfaces are cross-browser compatible and mobile-friendly.
Write well-structured, maintainable, and efficient code.
Collaborate with the team to implement security best practices.
Coordinate with QA teams to troubleshoot, prioritize, and fix bugs.
Handle the deployment of the application on Fly.io, including continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
