Outgoing US President Joe Biden made his final address at the White House on January 15. In his speech, Biden “warned” Americans about some things that are giving him great concerns and then went on to talk about the concentration of power in the hands of “ultra-wealthy people”. His thinly-veiled remark appeared to be directed toward billionaire Elon Musk, who is close to incoming US President Donald Trump. Biden claimed that power with the rich leads to abuse, if left unchecked. Remember, Musk has been announced as co-chair of Department of Government Efficiency by Trump, which will effectively keep a check on US government’s spending. Biden also slammed Meta chief Mark Zuckerberg, who recently announced Facebook was doing away with its fact-checking program. The President said, “The truth is smothered by lies.” Watch the video for more.
