Congress party MP from UP’s Amethi, Kishori Lal Sharma, spoke exclusively to Hindustan Times’ Kumkum Chadha. Amethi had been the Gandhi family’s stronghold until 2019 when Congress stalwart Rahul Gandhi lost the general elections to BJP’s Smriti Irani. He revealed how he revived the ground for Congress’ return in Amethi which led to the defeat of Smriti Irani.
