We are seeking a skilled Squarespace designer and developer with expertise in local SEO optimization to join our team. The primary responsibility will be to duplicate and customize template Squarespace sites for various locations, ensuring each site is tailored to the local market and optimized for SEO. This role may also involve occasional updates to site content as per the owners’ requests and the creation of landing pages for advertising campaigns.

Responsibilities:

Duplicate and customize Squarespace template sites for different locations, ensuring each site maintains the core brand elements while being tailored to the local audience.

Edit and update website content based on specific requirements from site owners, ensuring all changes are in line with the overall brand and website design.

Optimize each site for local SEO, including keyword research, meta tags, and content optimization to improve local search visibility.

Collaborate with our marketing team to design and develop effective landing pages for various advertising campaigns, optimizing for conversion.

Conduct regular site audits to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance site performance and SEO ranking.

Stay updated with the latest Squarespace features and web design trends to ensure our sites remain current and engaging.

Requirements:

Proven experience in designing and customizing Squarespace websites, with a strong portfolio showcasing past projects.

Solid understanding of local SEO principles and experience in optimizing Squarespace sites for local search.

Ability to work efficiently to duplicate and customize sites, with keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Experience in creating and optimizing landing pages for advertising campaigns, with a focus on user experience and conversion optimization.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and site owners.

Flexibility to handle occasional content updates and site modifications as needed.

Knowledge of current web design trends and best practices, with a continuous drive to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques.

Hourly Range: $10.00-$20.00
