We are seeking an experienced Node.js Engineer to join our team. As part of our team, you will be involved in building a healthcare app from the ground up.

Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with the development team to design and develop the backend of our healthcare app using Node.js and related technologies.
– Ensure the app’s backend is scalable, reliable, and secure.
– Implement features based on system diagrams and collaborate with front-end developers for seamless integration.
– Develop and maintain client-side caching with optimistic mutation support.
– Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code, following best practices and coding standards.
– Conduct debugging and testing to ensure high-quality software.
– Stay informed about advancements in Node.js development and recommend improvements to processes and technologies.
– Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders through excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements:
– At least 5 years of software engineering experience, focusing on Node.js and related technologies.
– Experience with Progressive Web Apps is a plus.
– Familiarity with Material UI is a plus.
– Knowledge of fully-typed, TypeScript with DX-focused tooling & quality-enforcing lint standards.
– Ability to develop and maintain a technology stack with a community and ecosystem of commercial & open-source libraries.
– Experience with integration of backend systems and RESTful APIs.
– Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Hourly Range: $30.00-$50.00
