Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei called an emergency session of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council on Friday. According to the New York Times, citing two Iranian officials, Khamenei called a meeting following the Israeli strikes on Hezbollah headquarters in southern Beirut, triggering rumours of the killing of Hassan Nasrallah.
