An explosion rocked Kolkata’s Blochmann Street and SN Banerjee Road amid the ongoing unrest in the West Bengal over the rape and murder of a trainee doctor. A 58-year-old ragpicker, Bapi Das, was reportedly injured in the blast that took place around 1:45 PM and was rushed to NRS Medical College. The area was quickly cordoned off, and the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) arrived to investigate. Watch for more.
