US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller faced a barrage of questions after Allies the United Kingdom suspended arms licenses to Israel amid the Gaza War. In a press briefing, Miller said that the UK made assessments based on their laws. This after British Foreign Secretary David Lammy said London was concerned the weapons covered by the decision “might be used to commit or facilitate a serious violation of international humanitarian law.”
