Lebanon-based Hezbollah militant group intensified attacks on Israel amid the Gaza War and fear of full-scale conflict in the Middle East. Hezbollah fired about 40 rockets from Lebanon at Israel’s western Galilee in the wee hours of August 31, according to the Times of Israel. IDF said it intercepted many rockets, but some landed in the area, causing an impact, but no injuries were reported. Meanwhile, Hezbollah militants’ sites and infrastructures were attacked by IDF jets and artillery in response to the rocket barrage.
