Palestine militant group Hamas reportedly killed at least three Israeli soldiers in Gaza on August 23. According to Press TV, Hamas’ al-Qassam Brigades fighters carried out an attack on the Israeli military in the al-Zeitoun neighbourhood in eastern Gaza. Meanwhile, Israeli defence forces confirmed the killing of a sergeant first class (res.) Evyatar Atuar during combat operations in central Gaza.
