Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Junior Software Development Engineer for a 12-month fixed-term contract with a leading multi-national company. The SDE will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate Remotely: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and stakeholders, to understand requirements and develop software solutions.
Code Development: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
Testing: Develop and maintain unit tests to validate software functionality and ensure reliability.
Problem Solving: Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues in a timely manner.
Technology Integration: Stay updated on emerging technologies and incorporate them into the development process as appropriate.
Documentation: Document software designs, implementation details, and procedures to ensure clear communication and knowledge transfer.
Deployment Support: Assist in the deployment and configuration of software applications as needed.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the software development process.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience: 1+ years of professional software development experience (not including internships).
Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
