We are looking for an experienced iOS developer with proficient knowledge of React Native to help fix an issue with push notifications in our iOS application. Currently, we are using Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM V1) in combination with Azure Notification Hub for push notifications, and while notifications are received in all states of the app, the app badges do not update when the app is in quit or background state.

Responsibilities:
– Investigate and diagnose the issue with app badges not updating.
– Investigate the triggering of push notification from our backend to make sure correct payload is being sent.
– Test the solution to ensure that it works reliably under various conditions.

Nice to have:
– Familiarity with backend development and API integration.
– Familiarity with Azure Notification Hub
