The job is to make the app look professional and beautiful, as well as provide some minor functional improvements through CSS.

The styling is to be done in CSS only, with no Html changes required.  If Html changes prove to be necessary, we will discuss, and I will make those changes in the git upstream.  There is a Tailwind based CSS reset sheet in the project already, no other third party CSS is allowed.  Just write custom CSS for the desired visuals.

The minor functional improvements might include making the alt columns adjustable-width by dragging, and by locking the widths of the non-text columns (the leftmost and rightmost, for example).  

You get the project sources to work on via GitHub fork, and you will be providing work to the client via git pull requests, so you should be comfortable with git.

The scope of the project is one hour per week, exactly, for many weeks.  This is a hobby project for the client, with a minimal budget, but a long planning horizon.  Each week the work session will involve a git fetch from upstream, so you are working with current Html, a push to your repo fork, and a pull request to pull the style changes into the upstream.
