I wish use OpenWRT on some device. I have the contructor binary firmawre, as you can see it’s tar with linux kernel + squashFS.
I have too SDK, it’s source with userspace shipped as ELF MIPS binary, and kernel with some .ko binary.
I need the most effective way to use OpenWRT, OpenWRT have very more efective UI, advanced control, … better if your method can be applied to any GPON/EPON firmware with similar way.
For now if I use the constructor kernel + squash of OpenWRT, OpenWRT not work because constructor kernel mount rootfs as RO and var as RW
2 possible way:
1) intergrate contructor kernel into OpenWRT tree, + some bin
2) modify the kernel contructor (source or binary) to have RW the rootfs
I need the method to do it, not only the final binary, to be able to update contructor kernel o OpenWRT part.
I can pay more if you can reverse the binary and integrate to upstream to use the vanilla OpenWRT.
FREE the internet! Fiber optical device is the base of internet today, have totally supported device will be a dream!
