I’m in need of some complex Shopify dev work. Our site, edmarshall.com sells jewelry – we need some quite advanced custom filters built (no filter app supports the complex logic that we need).

We have a full detailed spec with exact requirements but here are some quick examples:

1. Ability to filter on various "dropdown" type metafields (showing as a list of checkboxes) – but instead of just showing the list of possible metafield values, it needs to show rollup groups that would contain multiple metafield values (e.g. the metafield values that are defined in the metafield backend "14k gold", "24k gold" would rollup into a single checkbox filter as just "gold").

2. Show/hide filters based on previous filter selection

3. Have a filter that’s a list of checkboxes that are static values (not driven by a metafield) and this would filter on a metafield open text field (basically searching the text fields on all products for the selected term). This one is particularly tricky (may not be possible) so we thought maybe "indexing" all these keywords by setting them as tags on the product (then the filter would be against just a list of tags).

There are a handful of other similar complex requirements but this should give a pretty good idea of the complexity and scope.
