We’re p.AI, a dynamic and forward-thinking European start-up specializing in Automation and Artificial Intelligence. As we continue to grow, we are on the lookout for an exceptional Front End Developer with a solid grasp of Django backend tasks to join our vibrant team.

Candidate:

We are seeking a candidate with strong expertise in React, Typescript, Redux, and Tailwind. Experience in Django, particularly on the frontend, is essential because we have 2 Projects (1 with React frontend/Django backend and another one with Django fullstack). Therefore, the ideal candidate would also be familiar with Django backend processes, and knowledge of htmx and hyperscript would be highly advantageous (nice to have).

We welcome both seasoned professionals and junior developers who are eager to learn and grow. Please note, we maintain high standards for code quality, which may require frequent refactoring of your work before final integration.

Our team comprises 4 in-house developers, several junior developers contracted through Upwork, and 2 domain experts.

Project:

Our current project involves developing a robust database application that will form the foundation for all our future services. We utilize Django for both front-end and back-end development, with a PostgreSQL database in a Docker environment. While we primarily use PyCharm Professional, we are open to other IDEs, though support will be tailored to PyCharm.

Your responsibilities will include:

Front-End Development: Building features, creating fixtures, and conducting refactoring tasks.
Back-End Assistance: Contributing to backend features, fixtures, and refactoring when needed.
Maintaining and improving applications using our tech stack.
Effective version control and code management using GitHub.

We’re looking for a candidate:

Who is proactive and not hesitant to ask questions.
With strong capabilities in React, Typescript, Redux, Tailwind, and Django.
Who possesses excellent communication skills and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Who is available for meetings with camera since our projects are mostly agile.
