Contract Overview:
Location: Full Remote
Contract Duration: Per project basis with potential for extension
Compensation: Competitive, based on experience

Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain web applications.
– Work on front and backend development tasks using the specified tech stack.
– Assist in developing and integrating the Gojiberry app with Shopify using REST and GraphQL API.
– Write and maintain automated tests alongside feature development for the codebase to ensure quality and performance.
– Participate in code reviews and contribute to team discussions.
– Use your technology expertise to consult with design and product management on opportunities and risks for creating user value.

Qualifications:
– Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
– Knowledge and understanding of frontend development with JavaScript frameworks such as React.
– Knowledge and understanding of backend development of a web server that interacts with an SQL database.
– Expertise in statically typed programming languages such as Go and TypeScript.
– Experience or willingness to learn testing libraries such as Testify and React Testing Library.
– Able to write SQL queries.
– Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
– Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a remote team.
– Participate in agile development processes and work effectively within an agile team environment.

Good to have:
– Experience developing AI-related products.
– Business-level English proficiency or above (N4 Japanese – good to have).
– Experience with testing libraries such as Testify and React Testing Library.
– Experience with Go web server libraries such as Echo.

– Backend: Go, Echo Web Framework, GORM with MySQL
– Testing: Vitest / Jest, React Testing Library
– Shopify: Shopify API, GraphQL
– Server Infrastructure (Optional): Google Cloud Platform, GKE, GCS, Cloud MySQL, Kubernetes
