Role Overview:
As a Contract Software Engineer at MORR LLC, you will collaborate with our team on various projects, bringing your expertise to develop, maintain, and optimize software solutions. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, scalable applications that meet our clients’ needs. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and use case studies to demonstrate the value of our solutions will be essential in selling our services to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain software applications according to project specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and other developers.
Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Use case studies and past project successes to articulate the value of our solutions to potential clients.
Contribute to project proposals and client presentations with technical insights and feasibility assessments.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Software Engineer or similar role.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, C#).
Experience with front-end and back-end development (full-stack experience is a plus).
Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in using case studies to demonstrate the value and effectiveness of software solutions.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
Experience in developing mobile applications (iOS and Android).
Previous experience working in a digital agency or consulting environment.

Hourly Range: $5.00-$100.00
