We are seeking an experienced Lead Engineer to join our team to help refine and optimize a bespoke query language developed for internal use. This tool is designed to assist our users in extracting and manipulating data from Excel to PowerPoint. With all necessary functionalities in place, we now require a comprehensive review to simplify the application and enhance its usability.
Responsibilities:
-Collaborate closely with our main developer to understand the existing codebase and functionality.
-Refactor the current query language to streamline its syntax and improve ease of use.
-Provide expert advice on software architecture to ensure the application is robust, maintainable, and scalable.
-Conduct a holistic review of the application, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
Hourly Range: $16.00-$35.00
