Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Web Scraping Specialist to extract inventory data from three specific public websites. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining scraping scripts, ensuring data accuracy, and delivering actionable insights to support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and maintain web scraping scripts to collect inventory data from targeted public websites.
Ensure data accuracy, quality, and integrity by implementing robust data validation and cleaning processes.
Collaborate with the data analysis team to provide structured and organized data for further analysis.
Monitor and optimize scraping scripts to ensure they are efficient and comply with best practices and legal guidelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to data extraction and processing.
Document the scraping process, including the code, methodology, and data handling procedures.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in web scraping using tools and languages such as Python (BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium), JavaScript, or similar technologies.
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for parsing and extracting data from web pages.
Experience with data processing libraries such as Pandas or NumPy.
Knowledge of API integration and handling JSON or XML data formats.
Familiarity with data storage solutions and databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud-based data extraction and processing platforms.
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Knowledge of web scraping legal considerations and best practices.
