We are seeking a talented and experienced Mobile App Developer to bring our vision of the "Healing Journey" (working title) app to life. "Healing Journey" is a unique mobile application designed to deliver daily audio poetry affirmations to users, accompanied by beautiful images and personal best challenges. The app will be available in both free and paid subscription versions, offering a serene and motivating experience to its users.

Responsibilities:

Develop and design a user-friendly mobile application for both iOS and Android platforms.
Implement features for daily push notifications of audio poetry affirmations.
Integrate a system for displaying accompanying images and personal best challenges with each affirmation.
Develop subscription models for free and paid versions of the app.
Ensure the app has a smooth and intuitive user interface and user experience.
Implement secure user authentication and data management.
Collaborate with our content team to integrate and update poetry, images, and challenges.
Perform thorough testing and debugging of the app.
Provide ongoing maintenance and updates post-launch.

Requirements:

Proven experience in mobile app development for both iOS and Android platforms.
Strong proficiency in programming languages.
Experience with push notification services and in-app purchases/subscriptions.
Ability to create and integrate audio playback functionality within the app.
Familiarity with cloud services and APIs for data storage and retrieval.
Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in developing apps with a focus on mental health, wellness, or personal development.
Familiarity with integrating multimedia content.
Prior work on subscription-based apps.

Hourly Range: $15.00-$30.00
