Looking to create a more basic Circle, Mighty Networks, Heartbeat.chat community platform. Completely hosted on GCP (fully managed preferably) with AWS SES and stripe set up. The user side which is simply the direct public community as you enter with 3 tabs (feed, shop and email settings). The admin side where the business can adjust their settings for their community members and connect stripe/domain/branded email. As you enter the domain for the user, the community website is public with login and a few basic tabs to explore. To start, the community will only have 3 basic tabs with 1. a threads/feed tab with the ability to have spaces/subs underneath it 2. shop tab (think of courses but simpler) where you can implement a monthly subscription paywall to a space 3. matchups email tab where the host of the community can basically match people in the community with each other randomly in groups of 2-8 members with an email/flow of emails. The user selects how often they want to be matched in the community, weekly, monthly, etc. One community platform that you can take inspiration from is Heartbeat.chat for the feed with emojis, email tab called matchups, etc.

This needs to work only on a web browser so desktop and mobile, no app needed. An Apple/Airbnb Aesthetic would be nice but not a huge deal. Have English as the default with an option to switch the language. One bigger feature in the future is to keep the communities linked across domains as I read more into ActivityPub.

I’ve attached images to help you understand more in case you can’t create a demo account for the platforms. The 2nd Login shows us needing to use stripe connect to allow businesses to accept monthly subscriptions.

I’m flexible on how we get this done, definitely utilizing open source libraries seems to be the play here stitching it together to make it work for a 1.0. I’d personally like to keep this open source so people in countries with an embargo can still use it for their own business. Let’s talk and get started immediately if you feel this is something you can get done. I hope long term we can work together to keep adding features but not a deal breaker. Anyone in the world can apply. Thank you so much, Collin.
