– Conduct manual testing of new and existing features across our web applications to ensure functionality, usability, and adherence to specifications.
– Test backend APIs and databases to validate data integrity, performance, and reliability.
– Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements and technical specifications.
– Execute test cases and document results thoroughly and clearly.
– Identify, isolate, and track bugs throughout testing cycles, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and provide valuable feedback during design and development phases.
– Participate in regression testing, performance testing, and user acceptance testing as needed.
– Contribute to improving QA processes and methodologies to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
– Proven experience in manual testing of web applications, backend APIs, and databases.
– Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
– Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
– Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
– Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
– Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
– Experience with automated testing tools and scripting languages is a plus.

Hourly Range: $10.00-$22.00
