Hamas confirmed the “assassination” of its leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran. Hamas claimed that Ismail Haniyeh was killed in a “treacherous Zionist raid”. Haniyeh and his bodyguard were killed in an attack on his residence in Tehran.
