APPICS (www.appics.app), a social media app that connects users through shared passions. We are looking for experienced developers to join our team and implement two new features:

An "Album" feature for users to create albums with photos and videos.
A multi-language caption translation feature to translate captions and descriptions into different languages, similar to Instagram’s translation functionality.

iOS app developed in Swift
Android app developed in Kotlin
Requirements:

Strong experience in iOS and/or Android development
Familiarity with integrating media gallery features and translation services
Understanding of UI/UX design principles
Experience with API integration for translation services
Scope of Work:

Album Feature: Develop and integrate an "Album" feature for users to create albums with photos and/or videos. Include functionalities like adding, removing, and organizing media.
Translation Feature: Implement a multi-language translation feature for captions and descriptions. This should include:
Automatic language detection and translation
Integration with translation APIs (e.g., Google Translate API)
A "See Translation" option for users to view the translated text
Support for a wide range of languages
Ensure smooth performance and responsiveness
Collaborate with design and backend teams for seamless integration
Test and debug the features to ensure reliability and security
Qualifications:

Proven experience in developing and launching media-rich features and translation functionalities on iOS and/or Android
Familiarity with using APIs and handling multilingual content
Ability to work independently and adhere to deadlines
Excellent communication skills in English
