We are seeking a seasoned PHP developer for a short-term project. The ideal candidate will possess strong PHP & MySQL skills and be adept at working with upgrades from a PHP 5.2 app to 8.2 (latest).  

Key responsibilities include:

1. PHP Version Upgrade: Transitioning our codebase from PHP 5 to PHP 8.
2. Deprecated Functions: Rewriting all deprecated functions to ensure full compatibility with PHP 8.
3. Compatibility Issues: Resolving any compatibility issues that arise during the upgrade.
4. Code Refactoring: Enhancing code structure and readability during the upgrade process.
5. Bug Fixing: Identifying and fixing existing bugs within the codebase.
6. Enhancements: Implementing improvements to optimize performance and minor feature updates
7. SQL: Diagnose and resolve database-related issues.
8. Documentation: Providing detailed documentation for all changes made.
9. Testing: Thoroughly testing all functionalities to ensure stability and reliability.
10. Collaboration: Working closely with the team to ensure a seamless upgrade process.
