Are you a creative and passionate UX designer with a keen interest in mental well-being and personal growth?

We are on a mission to digitize mental health exercises and tools, allowing users to choose the most fitting or relevant ones based on their individual needs. One of our core features is a gratitude journaling exercise, but we aim to expand this to include a variety of scientifically-backed mental health practices.

We are looking for a fresh set of eyes to take our service to the next level. This project is at an exciting stage, and your expertise will be pivotal in shaping its future.

Responsibilities:

Conduct a review of the current UX/UI and provide insightful feedback.

Collaborate with our team to redesign and improve the main screen and overall user journey.

Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for new features and enhancements.

Ensure the app’s design promotes user engagement, ease of use, and a positive emotional experience.

Incorporate gamification elements and social interaction features to make the daily journaling process fun and sticky.

Design with a focus on mobile-first principles, ensuring a seamless experience across various devices.

Contribute to business development by understanding user needs and market trends to propose strategic improvements and new features.

Requirements:

Proven experience in UX/UI design, preferably with a focus on mobile applications.

Strong portfolio showcasing previous projects, especially those related to mental health, personal growth, or community-based apps.

Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a remote team.

Creativity, attention to detail, and a user-centered design approach.

Business acumen to understand market needs and contribute to strategic development.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with gamification and designing engaging user experiences.

Knowledge of positive psychology and mental health concepts.
Familiarity with video journaling or similar interactive content features.

Hourly Range: $15.00-$40.00
