We are seeking an experienced NDK developer to build an advanced algorithm for document detection using camera or gallery images. The project involves implementing precise edge detection for each document scanned through the camera or imported via the gallery and applying various filters such as greyscale, lighten, magic color, B&W, and Eco—similar to those available in the Cam Scanner application. The goal is to enhance our PDF scanner Android application to compete with top reference applications like Cam Scanner, Adobe Scanner, and Tap Scanner.

Deliverables:
– Develop a shared object (SO) file in C language that can be utilized by the Android app.
– The SO file must include the specified filters: greyscale, lighten, magic color, B&W, and Eco.
– Resolve any crashes or ANRs that occur after deploying this algorithm.
– Ensure accuracy up to the nearest level of reference applications, if not equal.

Requirements:
– Proven experience in similar projects, such as document scanning or AI-based document features.
– Strong knowledge of NDK files and C language.
– Hands-on experience in developing and writing complex AI-based algorithms.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Previous work on applications involving document edge detection.
– Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results within deadlines.
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
