US Senator Marco Rubio introduced a bill in Congress on July 25 to further strengthen ties with India. Rubio proposed to treat India on par with its allies, like Japan, Israel, Korea, and NATO. He said, ‘Communist China continues to aggressively expand its domain in the Indo-Pacific region, and the US-India partnership is vital to counter the Chinese influence.’
