Tourcrib.com is an innovative marketplace developed in Ruby on Rails 6, featuring VueJS components specifically designed for an efficient checkout process. We aim to provide seamless booking experiences by empowering hosts and travelers with intuitive and efficient tools.

Job Summary :

We are seeking a talented Freelance Full Stack Developer to join our team on a project basis. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in developing new features and enhancing the functionality of our marketplace.

Responsibilities :

– Develop and implement new features within the Tourcrib platform, focusing on both backend (Ruby on Rails) and frontend (VueJS) components.

– Integrate and maintain functionalities such as alternate booking dates, ferry ticket bookings, and enhanced checkout processes.

– Optimize existing codebase for performance and scalability.

– Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software to ensure strong optimization and functionality.

Key Projects :

– Implement a feature allowing hosts to propose alternate dates directly to travelers.

– Integrate ferry ticket booking capabilities into the existing activity model.

– Enhance the checkout process to include sign-up and onboarding steps, reducing user friction.

– Additional tasks as outlined by the project roadmap and sprint planning.

Requirements :

– Proven experience in Ruby on Rails and VueJS, with a solid understanding of their ecosystems.

– Strong understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

– Familiarity with continuous integration and various testing tools.

– Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

– Fluent in English; understanding of French is a plus.

Work Structure :

– Remote work with a flexible schedule.
– Sprint cycles of 3 weeks followed by 1 week off for planning.
– Monthly compensation: $1500 USD.
