We are a startup building analytics software for energy buying at large companies, helping them increase transparency about their cost and risk and enable better future decisions. With this product and as a company, we strive to help Europe’s largest energy consumers to move towards the green energy system of tomorrow.

Currently, we are looking for a creative individual with an affinity for data to help us iterate on our product. Specifically, we need to extend, revise and iterate over the way we present data and insights to our customers and how we enable them to reach their own conclusions through simulation and our suggestions.

Our product is an analytics suite built around Grafana as a frontend, consuming and presenting pre-processed data from our backend. Within the scope of this project, you will work mostly on the frontend layer, using Grafana capabilities and potentially custom HTML/CSS/JS snippets to shape the UI and SQL to query the needed data from our backend. See attached for an example view of our current tool.

This project will consist of two phases:
Phase 1 (ca. 2 months, 30-40 hrs/week):
Initially, we will work through our current backlog of ideas and existing features. The work will include the design and prototyping / implementation of new dashboards as well as the re-design / re-organization of the application as a whole from UX perspective.
Phase 2 (long term, 10-20 hrs/week or as needed):
After the initial phase, we will likely continually need support on the design and prototyping of new features or the re-invention of existing ones. Depending on the outcome of the initial phase, the project could then settle into a flexible long-term collaboration setting.

Specific skills / experience we are looking for:
– Experience with data visualization and analysis
– Experience in UX design, ideally for data applications
– Proficiency with SQL, python is a plus
– Experience with Grafana (or a similar tool)
– Experience in the energy or procurement domains is a plus

Hourly Range: $15.00-$40.00
