Opposition parties hailed Supreme Court’s order to pause BJP-ruled states’ order directing eateries on Kanwar Yatra route to display names of their staff. TMC’s Mahua Moitra, Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav and other opposition leaders came down heavily on BJP for the Kanwar Yatra order. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ally JD(U) also celebrated the order against BJP governments.
