Overview:

We are seeking an experienced web developer to assist with setting up a retail e-commerce website on the Shopify platform. Our goal is to create a functional and cost-effective website, similar in layout and product offerings to the following examples:

– https://www.vitacost.com/
– https://myvillagegreen.com/

Project Scope:

1. Template Customization:
   – Utilize a pre-purchased Shopify template to reduce costs.
   – Customize the template to align with our brand and product offerings.
   – Preferably not looking as if its your average Shopify website.

2. Product Uploads:
   – Initial setup for around 500 products.
   – Our team will handle product descriptions and photos.

3. Stock Photos and Assets:
   – Collect stock photos for the main page using our Adobe Stock account or assets from ui8.com as needed.

4. **Basic Pages:**
   – Create essential pages: FAQ, About Us, Contact Us, etc.
   – Include a Wholesale Application page with a simple form directing emails to our email hosting service.

Requirements:
– Proven experience with Shopify development and customization.
– Ability to work with pre-existing templates to save on costs and time.
– Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices.
– Excellent communication skills to collaborate with our team.
